The content of metal in crude oil gradually increased when crude oil was exploited largly in recent years.The impact of Ni and V in crude oil on petroleum processing are becoming more and more serious.In the cracking process Ni and V are deposited on the catalysts and cause poisoning and fouling of catalysts.Because of the constraints to improve the ability of crude oil processing,more attentions are paid to research on the demetallization of nickel and Vanadium from crude oil.The metal V and Ni organic compound in the inferior crude oil was treated as research object in this article.The present work testified the existence of Ni and V in complex crude oil by SARA.According to the result,the complex crude oil catalogued into heavy crude oil with low viscosity and density was covered with low content of Asphaltene.A new terpolymer MA-AMPS-APEY was synthesized in the lab which consisted of a large number of strong chelating properties such as carboxyl,suLfonic acid group and etc,which are the main chelating agent for the removal of nickel and Vanadium in petroleum.The results of FT-IR showed that the target product was MA-AMPS-APEY.After the Oman-Basra mixed oil mixed with a certain amount of MA-AMPS-APEY breaking through,Effects of monomer ratio,initiator dosage,synthesis temperature and synthesis time on the removal of nickel and Vanadium in oil were investigated.The best experimental results showed that the reaction time was 4 h, the ratio of MA,AMPS,APEY was 60:1:1, the dosage of initiator was 8%, and the total amount of chain transfer agent was 6%. Under this condition, the synthesis of MA-AMPS-APEY in the mixed crude oil of Basra with the addition of 300 ppm can achieve the best results by 41.7%.The removal effect of MA-AMPS-APEY for luning oil and Iran-Saudi Arab crude oil is not significant.The removal of Ni and V in Oman-Basra mixed crude oil was carried out with Sulfamic acid, ethylene carbonate, citric acid, hexamethylene tetramine, phthalic acid, benzoic acid. Sulfamic acid, citric acid, ethylene carbonate with better removal effect was selected for the combination, the best combination is amino sulfonic acid, citric acid and MA-AMPS-APEY. The best removal effect of the compound of removal agent on the Oman-Basra mixed crude oil can reach 32.3%.The applicability of compound removal agent on heavy oil was explored.The experimental results show that the removal effect of the Ni and V in the luning oil and the Iranian heavy crude oils is only 10%-20%. Composite removal agent can only be effective for Oman-Basra mixed crude oil that does not have universal applicability.Effect of ultrasonic and microwave on the removal of Ni and V was reserched.The results show that ultrasonic can effectively destroy the association of the Ni and V heavy oil in a certain extent.In order to increase the contact surface between the Ni,V and the removal agent,the Ni and V are removed from the surface of the asphaltene.Microwave can effectively destroy the structure of nickel and Vanadium compound to improve the removal rate of nickel and Vanadium.
