Covalent organic frameworks(COFs) represent an exciting new type of porous organic materials, large surface area, regular but tunable pore size, facilely tailored functionality endow COFs many applications like gas separation, chemical sensing, catalysis and drug delievery. Fabrication of material based device is of great significance for fullly developing its nature and function, and the thin film is the most basic and common structure unit in device. COFs are mostly microcrystalline powders, however, this severely limit the applications of COFs in some case. In this work, we prepared DAB-TFP COF, DAAQ-TFP COF and TAPB COF thin films through solvolthermal deposition. Combined with the traditional semiconductor processing technologies, we also fabricated COF film based microstructure. The related research mainly from the following three aspects:(1) By adjusting reactant concentration, catalyst amount, reaction time, we prepared compact, smooth, no defect and oriented DAB-TFP COF thin films on several substrates. Then, we choosed appropriate characterization methods to discuss the chemical and pore stuctures of DAB-TFP COF thin film.(2) Choosing momomers of special structure, we fabricated redox-active DAAQ-TFP COF thin film and TAPB COF thin film with large pore. The prepared COFs thin films were compact, no-defect and high crystalline. DAAQ-TFP COF was grown on CNT to form CNT/DAAQ-TFP COF composite.(3) Via solvolthermal deposition and semiconductor processing technologies, we developed two effective COFs thin film processing strategies. We prepared DAB-TFP COF/Pt hybrid thin film through layer-by-layer depostion; Using photolithography and area-selective growth, we fabricated patterned DAB-TFP COF thin film.
