Oxidative cleavage of olefins have been a hot topic of chemists, these transformations play an important role in both industrial and academic circles, which is an important way to introduce oxygen-containing functional groups in the substrate. In recent years, with the continuous development of green chemistry, cleanness is an important measure of reaction, thus, clean oxidation of olefins have been widespread concern of chemists. Conforming to the trend of clean oxidation of alkenes, this paper mainly studies the clean oxidative reaction of 1,1-disubstituted ethenes and active methylene cyclopropanes (MCPs), the main achievements include the following three aspects:1. Study on oxidative reaction of 1,1-disubstituted ethenes by the oxygen. In this method, a catalytic amount of cerium ammonium nitrate (CAN) as catalyst, cheap and clean oxygen as oxidant. Compared with the existing methods, this method employs low-loading catalyst and is ligand-free with high yield under mild condition. In addition, substrate application range is wide and a-methyl tertiary alcohols can also be smoothly oxidized to carbonyl compounds by molecular O2, providing a clean methodology to prepare carbonyl compounds.2. Study on oxidative reaction of 1,1-diaryl ethenes by hydrogen peroxide. In this method, a catalytic amount of organic selenium as catalyst, clean hydrogen peroxide as oxidant, non-toxic ethanol as solvent. We have successfully developed an alternative method for the clean oxidation of 1,1-diaryl ethenes to carbonyl compounds.3. Study on selectively oxidative ring-expansion of methylenecyclopropanes (MCPs) by hydrogen peroxide. The catalytic amount of organic selenium as catalyst, clean hydrogen peroxide as oxidant. Compared with the existing methods, this method is a clean method for preparing cyclobutanone derivatives. In conclusion, we have successfully developed three kinds of methods for the preparation of carbonyl compounds by clean oxidation of olefins.
