In recent years, the atmospheric environmental problems have become increasingly prominent as the rapid development of China’s economy. The acid rain, fog haze and other atmospheric problems, seriously impacting on people’s production and life at a peak period, has aroused great attention of the government. In order to provide scientific evidence for the solution of atmospheric environmental problems and national sustainable development, intelligent and efficient online monitoring equipment shall play a crucial role in the real-time monitoring of the atmospheric environment and effective governance. However, at the current stage, there are many issues of the atmospheric monitoring equipment in application, such as the huge overall cost, relying on the import, low real-time, big impact of human factors, poor operational data et al. The homemade equipment has defects in fewer monitoring parameters, the single gateway node, low utilization of data, high maintenance costs and complicated operation process of information publishing platform, which made it unable to meet the needs of air monitoring equipment for multi-parameter, multi-node, high reliability, low cost and convenient real-time data sharing.In order to solve the above problems efficiently, the key technologies such as internet of things technology, embedded technology, and sensor technology are introduced. Based on the above technical background, combined with the Shaanxi province social development science and technology research project in 2015, a scheme of multi-parameter and multi-node atmospheric online monitoring system to the surrounding area in Northwest China is proposed and the system is developed. This paper mainly discusses the development of atmospheric monitoring equipment, the setting of to the cloud service platform of Lewei internet and assorted application. The main tasks and technical points of the system are as follows:1、Constantly measure the temperature, humidity, PM2.5, PM10, SO2, O3;2、Transmit the atmospheric monitoring data into the atmospheric monitoring information processing center in real-time, with a communication distance of exceeded 30 km;3、Information center software can monitor, store, display and predict parameters of atmospheric data.The system consists of the hardware part of the atmospheric monitoring system, Lewei commercial internet cloud services platform and the PC application software. It can constantly monitor atmospheric parameters and transmit to the internet of things cloud service platform. The application software of PC can obtain real-time uploaded data from the cloud platform for networking monitoring devices, carry out analysis, processing, storage, display and report output to the data, and provide the basis for the environmental protection.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1、Research on atmospheric monitoring technology: the existing atmospheric monitoring technology has been analyzed and summarized in this paper, combined with the requirements of the social development of science and technology project in Shaanxi Province, a multi-parameter, multi-node online atmospheric monitoring program is proposed, the timeliness, practicality and operability of the scheme are discussed, the underlying multi-node data fusion is explored preliminarily;2、Design and develop system hardware:a set of economical and applicable hardware design method is put forward, the hardware circuit design of atmospheric detection has been completed with modular design method, the realization circuit and working principle are given, and the hardware model is demonstrated;3、Develop the software of atmospheric online monitoring system:according to the actual needs of the hardware circuit, the task of the system has been divided into several parts, the development of functional modules using embedded system programming have been completed;4、Research on access method of the commercial internet of things cloud platform:the access method for the commercial internet of things cloud platform has been analyzed intensively, the Lewei internet of things cloud platform has been set up, the access to the monitoring device and real-time information release have been completed.Through testing of the hardware and software and joint commissioning with PC software, it can be concluded that the overall system can operate normally, successfully carrying out functions like real-time online monitoring and warning of the monitoring data and GPS positioning. The system shows characteristics such as difficult tempering local data, low price, easy operation, high degree of automation and so on. The measurement accuracy of the project has reached the expected target of 5%, which means the system can be widely applicate in atmospheric detection.
