In China, the agricultural plastic film mulching has been widely used, not only has brought huge economic benefits to agricultural production, but also caused serious pollution to the agricultural environment. In this paper, investigation of the town of Yongfeng, Liangzhou district, Wuwei, Gansu, China to the use of the plastic film, residual current situation and plastic film mulching and film thickness were analyzed. In the soil, the residual amount of plastic film increased with the increasing of the coating life. The residual amount of plastic film in the soil was linear with the coating time. The correlation coefficient was 0.9052 and 0.8971. It showed that the amount of plastic film in the soil increased with the increase of the length of the coating. The coefficient of plastic film residue in soil and the coating time was 0.8483, 0.8607. Studies have shown that different film covering modes of plastic film usage effect, the film double furrow irrigation amount of plastic film used to use than the membrane tiled mulch amount to 19.00 kg/hm2.Full film double furrow irrigation, plastic film mulching and film flat plastic film mulched plastic film residue results are analyzed and compared, the full film double furrow irrigation mulching plastic film usage than tiling of the whole film mulch use amount to about 1.21 times of it. Full film double furrow irrigation of film mulching plastic film in soil residual coefficient is 0.54, and the whole film is tiled residual coefficient is 4.03, full film double furrow irrigation mulching than tiling of the whole film of plastic film mulched with plastic film in soil residues to small, covered in plastic film residue in effect.Mulched Field corn yield increased significantly(P < 0.05), but covered with different thickness of plastic sheeting after changes of two varieties of maize yield is not obvious(P > 0.05), indicating the different film thickness effect on maize yield little or no effect; film thickness of plastic sheeting in the soil residual effect, thickness of 0.010 mm film than the film thickness < 0.008 mm in the soil residues to be small, it is recommended to use the thickness is more than or equal to 0.008 mm plastic sheeting.
