To improve the light stability and quality of hydrotreated lube base oils,developing hydrosaturation catalyst and hydrofinishing catalystis crucial.This paper investigated the preparation technology of hydrosaturation catalyst and hydrofinishing catalyst and prepared three kinds of γ-Al2O3 supports which were made from three different pseudo-boehmites. The results showed that all kinds of γ-Al2O3 supports possess appropriate pore structure and has the higher specific surface area(the biggest 312m2/g). The properties of γ-Al2O3 support modified with acidic silica sol or USY zeolite were studied. XRD results showed that support modified with sole acidic silica sol has characteristic peaks of γ-Al2O3, support modified with USY zeolite emerges some characteristic peaks of USY zeolite. Py-IR results showed that USY zeolite increased the Br?nsted acid amounts of the support, however, acidic silica sol didn’t.Pd-Pt/γ-Al2O3, Pd-Pt/USY-γ-Al2O3 and Pd-Pt/Si O2-γ-Al2O3 series of catalysts with Bi-metal Pd and Pt as active components were prepared by isometric impregnation method. The acidities of these catalysts were investigated. Results showed that Pd-Pt/Si O2-γ-Al2O3 series of catalysts only has Lewis acid sites and Pd-Pt/USY-γ-Al2O3 series of catalysts possess both Lewis acid sites and Br?nsted acid sites.The open loop hydrogenation saturation performance evaluations of Pd-Pt/USY-γ-Al2O3 and Pd-Pt/Si O2-γ-Al2O3 series of catalysts were carried out on a 50 m L high pressure fixed bed micro-reactor device. Results showed that among the Pd-Pt/USY-γ-Al2O3 series of catalysts, Adding 10wt% USY zeolite catalyst modified performs much better than Adding 5wt% USY zeolite catalyst modified. However, the liquid yields of this series of catalysts are low because of its high catalytic cracking activity. Among the Pd-Pt/Si O2-γ-Al2O3 series of catalysts, Add 15wt% of the acidic silica sol modified catalysts performs best. The optimum conditions discovered were as following: 15.0MPa, 340 ℃ 、 LHSV=0.6h-1and V(H2)/V(Oil)=1000:1.The supplement hydrogenation refining performance evaluation of Pd-Pt/γ-Al2O3 were carried out on a 100 m L high pressure fixed bed micro-reactor device. Results showed that catalyst with precious metal load of 0.7wt% performs the best. The optimum conditions investigated for this reaction were 15.0MPa, 300℃, LHSV=0.6h-1and V(H2)/V(Oil)=1000:1.
