Having a unique 3-dimensional network structure, MQ silicone resin is superior to other materials in the application. The synthesis of MQ silicone resin differs from other silicones’, and the process is more complicated and troublesome in subsequent processing. What’s more, it will make environmental pollution. Therefore, the research on the synthesis of vinyl MQ silicone resin is particularly important.To meet the requirements in subsequent application, various factors on synthesis of vinyl MQ silicone were studied in this paper. And the products were used in reinforcing silicone rubber. Some related tests have been done. The specific research contents are as follows:1.Vinyl MQ silicone resin was synthesized via the hydrolytic condensation of tetraethyl orthosilicate(TEOS). All the factors of MQ resin were studied. The influence factors to the vinyl MQ silicon resins were studied. The suitable conditions were as follows:the molar ratio of M to Q is 0.5~0.9, the ratio of the mass of hydrochloric acid to the mass of all raw materials is 0.5%~0.9%,the molar ratio of water to TEOS is 3, the molar of ethanol is equal to the sum of TEOS and M, the low temperature reaction temperature is 45℃,the reaction time is 1h at 78℃.The property of vinyl MQ silicone resin obtained t is moderate. The viscosity and vinyl content of the products can be conductive by changing the time of low temperature reaction. The vinyl MQ silicone resin catalyzed by KOH has excellent heat resistance.2.The structures of the resins were characterized by 1H-NMR and FT-IR spectroscopy. The properties were characterized by TG and DSC. Results show vinyl MQ silicone resin was synthesized.3.The vinyl MQ silicone resins obtained in the experience were applied in reinforcing silicone rubber. When MQ resin with vinyl content of 1.49% was used in an amount of 1wt%, silicone rubber exhibited optimal results: tensile strength was 2.220 MPa, strength was 1.157 k N/m, hardness(Type A) was 55.
