Polymer material processing molding is energy-intensive process operation, the traditional processing way is generated by the screw rotates, the material transport was realized by the shear and the drag force field. The flow of material and deformation was controlled by the shear flow field, which has long experience of thermal mechanical process, the current methods and equipment of the screw plasticizing transport is complex structure, high energy consumption and narrow spread adaptability to materials. Jinping Qu, the professor of SCUT has put forward and invented a polymer eccentric rotor extruder plasticating and conveying method based on elongational rheology, realized the big shift in the process of plasticizing transport by shear deformation effects mainly to completely dominated by tensile deformation volume, In principle to solve the traditional plasticizing transport method and equipment of such as long mechanical process and high energy consumption. Study a new type of polymer dominated by tensile rheological forming process and characteristics, based on tensile rheological theory of polymer processing and application of the development of innovation has important scientific significance and engineering value.In this paper, the extruder eccentric rotor which based on the tensile creep of polymer was the research object, Analyzed the topology relationship of plasticizing transport system structure and the principle of transport. Experimental results showed that the eccentric rotor had good positive displacement conveying characteristics. The transport and process conditions of materials and the relationship between structure parameters and material properties were analyzed.This article texted the production and energy experiment of LDPE and HDPE. The experimental results verified the eccentric rotor with good positive displacement conveying characteristics, its production is almost linear increase, the characteristics of the extrusion is stable and the pressure of the head die almost has no affect on the production. The unit energy consumption is low, while guarantee the product quality to achieve high efficiency and energy saving, the thermal mechanical conveying process is shorter, and high efficiency and the energy consumption is lowerThrough experimental data for the first time in this paper, the BP neural network was established to eccentric rotor extruder,To simulate the energy consumption characteristics for multivariate nonlinear extrusion under the condition of energy consumption model, the results show that the neural network prediction accuracy is high, the errors are within 3%, high degree of agreement with the experimental data, the eccentricity of the rotor under different rotational speed, pressure variable with extruder nonlinear fast response to the change of energy consumption, in order to establish the status of energy consumption of eccentric rotor extruder detection and intelligent control to provide theoretical basis for machine.In this paper, the plasticizing transport process and production, theoretical and experimental research, the characteristic of energy consumption laid a good foundation for further study of polymer process and mechanism of the eccentric rotor plasticizing extruder, the polymer eccentric rotor plasticizing transport equipment provides important theoretical basis for popularization and application.
