Biodiesel has become a hotspot of new energy development, attracted wide attention. Study of biodiesel in China started late, but for the last decade, in the selection of raw materials, production process,catalyst research very much,and has made some breakthroughs.Catalyzed by ionic liquids, there is separation, high efficiency, good stability, reusable, less environmental pollution,and many other advantages,will gradually replace traditional catalysts for biodiesel.Dual-core acidic ionic liquid [DABCO-PS][HSO4] were synthesized by two step.and The optimum reaction conditions of [DABCO-PS] were determined as follows:molar ratio of 1,3-propane sulfonic acid ester to DABCO was 2:1,reaction temperature was 60℃,the reaction time 3h,and stirring speed was 1500 r/min,the yield of [DABCO-PS] was 94 %.Infrared Spectra of each of the three kinds of ionic liquids for the synthesis of characterization,1H NMR and mass spectrometry further to [DABCO-PS][HSO4] for testing,determine the synthetic product is the goal of ionic liquids.The optimum reaction conditions of transesterification using [DABCO-PS][HSO4] as catalysts were determined as follows:molar ratio of CH3 OH to castor oil was 12:1,amount of catalysts was 4%(based on the mass of castor oil),reaction temperature was 50℃, reaction time was 1h,The yield of biodiesel under the condition was 90%.Based on single factor experiments designed by orthogonal test,The optimum reaction conditions of transesterification using [DABCO-PS][HSO4] as catalysts were determined as follows:molar ratio of CH3 OH to oleic acid was 6:1,amount of catalysts was 6%(based on the mass of oleic acid),reaction temperature was 70°C,reaction time was 4h,the yields of fatty acid methyl ester under the condition was 94%.Based on single factor experiments designed by orthogonal test,The optimum reaction conditions of transesterification using [DABCO-PS][HSO4] as catalysts were determined as follows:molar ratio of CH3 OH to waste food oil was 10:1,amount of catalysts was 10%(based on the mass of waste food oil), reaction temperature was 50℃,reaction time was 3.5h,the yields of biodiesel under the condition was 90%.
