The seepage stability of dam of the coal mine underground reservoir is one of the important factors about influence the stability of dam body. It is very important to take appropriate seepage control measures for the safe operation of dam body about coal mine underground reservoir. Meanwhile, the dam that under complex geological conditions of the coal mine underground reservoir increased the complexity of the seepage field of underground reservoirs.By taking finite element method(fem) that build the model of containing stratum structure、coal structure and dam body structure to conduct seepage calculation, which can be more real to simulation the distribution of seepage field of underground reservoir.The article discusses the water retaining dam body of different types about the coal mine underground reservoirs in Ordos Daliuta. It contains the structure of dam body, the structure of anti-seepage curtain, security coal pillar, three-dimensional numerical model of rock layer partition, which base on Darcy law, seepage continuity equation, equivalent continuous medium model and considers the permeability difference of water retaining dam body distribution of different types in the coal mine, and also conducts the calculation of seepage of typical three-dimensional finite element, meanwhile the articles has carried on the comparison and analysis of a variety of conditions by combining with the problems of existing in the actual project.And even the article also appraises seepage control system’s penetrating effect of water retaining dam body of different type’s underground reservoirs.The article analyzed the broken coal pillar around the water retaining dam body and the permeability of curtain grouting area that influence on seepage field and also analyzed that the change of curtain permeability impacts the dam seepage flow under different working conditions.In this paper, the analysis of seepage calculation shows that it is very effective about the curtain grouting anti-seepage system for water retaining dam body of the Daliuta coal mine underground reservoir. The curtain can effectively block water flow from the dam upstream and decrease the seepage flow of dam body.Calculation achievement of this paper provides a reliable basis for anti-seepage system adjustment of the water retaining dam of the coal mine underground reservoir and the safety evaluation of dam body. The paper summarizes the seepage law of water retaining dam body about underground reservoir, which may be a use for reference for the similar engineering.
