Welding technique is often used in manufacturing,which includes many subjects.By the computer numerical simulation technology, it can accurately simulate the welding process in a variety of phenomena.It is a very important significance to design of welding structure, selection of materials and optimization of welding procedure.The instrument panel bracket is an important part of the car.To ensure safety and operational quality of the car, it needs sufficient strength and stiffness, but also has a good impact on resistance, proper elasticity and resistance to fatigue property.First,it needs to make a model for the entire welding fixture system. And it introduce N107 minivan instrument panel bracket detailedly. Automatic welding equipments consist of the console, the control unit, the welding unit and multistage fixture.Secondly, according to the characteristic of the instrument panel bracket, its large welding deformation structures at both ends of the tube sheet needs to do a welding simulation by the ANSYS software. Taking into account the performance parameters of the material when it will change from temperature. It meshes the finite element model by the subarea.It is the welding area and near the welding area with the smaller grid and the welding with the bigger grid from inside to outside.In this paper, the temperature field and stress field are analysed by the indirect coupled method.Primarily,it simulates to the temperature field and the result will be preserved accurately.Then it loads the form of the temperature field which is applied to calculate the stress field simulation.Finally,Analysis results of the temperature field in the heating and cooling process are given at different times in the temperature contours.It analyses the curve graph of three nodes along the same path and four nodes equal to the radial distance. The results are given stress contours.By the evaluation program through path.It draws the curve graph of three stress on this path.Follow the path graph, it makes the results of its analysis. Through the analysis of the results,it obtains a variatal tendency and provides a reference for the process design of welding structures.In the end,the simulated results and the experimental results are compared.The results are basically same,which verifies the feasibility of welding numerical simulation methods.
