With the principle of layered superposition, selective laser sintering molding technology is one of the most important means of 3D printing rapid prototyping technology containing many advanced technologies such as computer science,materials science, software engineering, laser technology and so on.The polymer composites have an important role in the selective laser sintering, and have broad application prospects.The polymer composites have an important role in the selective laser sintering, and the application prospect is very broad.The researchers all around the world have deeply investigated the preparation of the polymer and its composite powders and their SLS process,But only a few polymers can be applied to SLS.In this paper, a series of research on the synthesis and molding of SLS with non-crystalline polymer materials was carried out:(1)The dimension accuracy of non-crystalline materials was studied systematically by the research on PS.The effects of the size of the workpieces and processing parameters such as laser energy density, preheating temperature, layer thickness on the shrinkage of the material, the secondary sintering, the bonus Z, the step effect and so on were discussed.(2)A new type of non crystalline materials used in SLS technology was developed.SAN resin was prepared by emulsion method and the process parameters were determined by orthogonal experiment.The SAN sintered parts were compared with PS sintered parts, and the results showed that the density of SAN powderprepared by spray drying was higher, and the mechanical properties of SAN sintered parts were better.(3)A series of experiments were carried out on the sintered parts of PS and SAN,and the formula of the wax was studied, and the optimum technological parameters of the wax extraction experiment were obtained. The dimensional accuracy and mechanical properties of resin impregnated sintered parts were measured.The results show that all the parts have the phenomenon of shrinkage with different proportions,the mechanical properties of sintered parts are greatly improved after the post treatment, and the mechanical strength of SAN is better.
