With the developing of the social and the increasing of people’s living standards, the high standard of requirements of people on indoor environment and the problems presented in the indoor environment has become more contradictory, making the use of "pollution" or "uncontaminated" to define the concept of the quality of air environment become history already, the quality upgrade of air environment has become a hot topic concerned by people. Given the important functions of the atrium in large public buildings, as well as people in the pursuit of an idealized environment of atrium space the problems brought by the complex airflow of atrium space, We need to conduct a study on " Study of The Dispersion And Migration Patterns of Pollutant of Atrium And The Nearby Area", providing a reference for related design personnel, creating a healthy, comfortable, energy-efficient atrium space.Based on the related measurement and construction, establishing physical model of CFD, using the method of Fluent to conduct a numerical simulation of the distribution of pollutant concentration, temperature, wind speed and other parameters of the atrium space and near regional at transitional and summer conditions,. Analysis of pollutant distribution of different operating conditions, got the following conclusions: Dominated by the airflow, the performance of the distribution of pollutant concentration was two opposite effect, that the combined effect and the dilution effect; At transitional conditions, the concentration of pollutant was increasing from the edge region of the atrium to the center, the distribution of temperature and wind speed was similar with the pollutant; At summer conditions, the concentration of pollutant was the combined effect in the work area, and increasing with raising of the angle of declination of outlet, the mean concentration of pollutants was increasing with the increase of the mean wind speed, high local value of pollutant concentration was decreasing with the increasing of the high value of wind speed; the concentration of pollutant was the dilution effect in non- work area, and declining with raising of the angle of declination of outlet, the mean concentration of pollutants was decreasing with the increase of the mean wind speed; during the design of atrium, the angle between delivery air and the level was controlled about 0, and the airflow velocity should be controlled 0.30m/s or less in the work area of recirculation zone; trying to avoid to set symmetric location of delivery and return air, in order to reduce the area of air trapping in the work area of the atrium.
