The thesis is composed of two chapters, in which the alkaloids of medicinal plant Lycopodium japonicum was phytochemically studied, and 41 alkaloids, including 2 new ones were isolated and identified.From the all plants of L. japonicum, 41 alkaloids were isolated and their structures were elucidated by various spectra, including lycopodine, lycodine, fawcettimine and other classes. They are 12β-hydroxy-acetylfawcettiine N-oxide(1), lycoposerramine-F(2), diphaladine A(3), 12-epilycodoline-N-oxide(4), lycopodine(5), acetyllycoposerramine M(6), lycoponicumine G(7), 11β-hydroxy-12-epilycodoline(8), 12-epilycodoline(9), lycoposerramine-G(10), lycoposerramine M(11), 6-hydroxylycopodine(12), serratezomine C(13), lycoposerramine K(14), lycoponicumine E(15), lycodoline(16), flabelline(17), fawcettiine(18), lycoclavine(19), acetylfawccttiine(20), lucidioline(21), 5-NHOAc-anhydrolycodoline(22), dihydrolycopodine(23), lycodine(24), des-N-methyl-β-obscurine(25), des-N-methyl-α-obscurine(26), α-obscurine(27), lycopoclavamine A(28), fawcettimine(29), phlegmariurine B(26), 17-methyllycoflexine(31), lycoflexine(32), 6-hydroxyl-6,7-dehydrolycoflexine(33), Lycojaponicumin E(34), 14,15-dehydrolycoflexine(35),(15R)-14,15-dihydroepilobscurinol(36), palhinine A(37), palcernine A(38), isopalhinine A(39), lycopladine H(40), lycocernuine(41). Among them, compound 1 was a new alkaloid of lycopodine, compound 31 was a new alkaloid of fawcettimine-type, compound 40 was isolated from L. japonicum for the first time.In order to study the anti AChE activity of compounds, we performed acetylcholinesterase inhibitory screening of 8 compounds, including 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 14, 18, 19, but unfortunately, no inhibitory activity. Then, In order to study the inhibitory activities for α-glucosidase of compounds, we performed α-glucosidase inhibitory activities screening of 18 compounds, including 7, 11, 22, 24, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, in addition to compound 24 with weak inhibitory activities for α-glucosidase, other compounds have no significant activity.At last, chemical compositions and pharmacological studies of L. japonicum were reviewed, including 101 chemical constituents and their names, plant resources and biological activities.
