The study area in ultra-high water cut last stage has a complicated distribution of oil and water, strong reservoir heterogeneity,therefore it is necessary to characterize reservoir features and remaining oil distribution.To tackle the low conformity problem in the interpretation of water-flood layers in the study area,this paper presents a in-depth investigation in the oil-water distribution,in the identification of the water-flood layers,and in the interpretation of the water-flood layers.Based on the investigation,a scheme to study the logging data interpretation of water-flood layers is used to introduce the oil formation physics and seepage mechanics.Major conclusions have been listed as follows:1.The target intervals is a lithological-tectonic reservoir with good connectivity in latitudinal direction,and a complicated oil-water system in north-south direction. Each small layers has a independent oil-water interface. The oil-bearing area of the major subzones is larger than the non-major subzones.2. In a waterflooding oil field,there are several changes,such as the decrease of oil-saturation and the better physical properties.These changes will reflect by the logging data.3.Acording to the seeping dynamic theory,the residual-oil forcast model has been taken in both water and oil balance,a comprehensive method is put forth to integrate multi-data into the logging evaluation of water-flood layers and the prediction of the remaining oil.4.In plane, the remaining oil is rich in structural uplift part and the area with poor physical properties.
