With the continuous development of the textile industry, carbon fiber composite solid fabric get more and more extensive attention and favor because of its lightweight,high strength and stiffness, good vibration resistance and other excellent features.However,there are damage characteristics which is easy to wear fluff and easy to cut of carbon fiber warp in weaving process. When the yarn damage occurs, we hope to timely detect and deal with it. the current domestic textile industry is still using the traditional manual method of detecting carbon fiber woven warp detection, detection effect is not very satisfactory. In addition, carbon fiber hairiness can lead to environmental pollution,and endanger human health.These all cause poor working conditions of carbon fiber three-dimensional weaving and the production process is difficult to control at present stage.For real-time monitoring weaving production status of carbon fiber warp, predicting and controlling the damage defects appeared during production process,the paper in the laboratory environment is based on a hardware platform of gigabit ethernet CCD camera-computer and software platform of Labview visual processing.Suitable image processing algorithm for on-line detection of carbon fiber weaving warp damage status is studied.One set image processing procedures of on-line measuring carbon fiber weaving warp damage status and determining the weft function is written. One set evaluation method of carbon fiber in the warp damage status is formulated.Evaluation standard data is sent to the control system through data communications for the upper computer change control strategy real-time for reference. This paper mainly complete the following tasks:(1) Image processing algorithms suitable for online real-time detection in carbon fiber weaving warp damage status is studied.Contour analysis algorithm analyze outline roughness of warp.Particle analysis algorithm analyze damage area of warp. Color calibration algorithm analyze whether filling ends happens.One set image processing program of online real-time detection loom warp damage status and determine filling ends is written.(2) Based on parameters of carbon fiber warp status collected in real-time with the Labview software visual processing module, a set of applicable evaluation standards on warp damage status of carbon fiber three-dimensional weaving are analysed and put forward. According to the fuzzy control theory, the realized program can provide evaluation of single yarn damage degree with the Matlab fuzzy logic toolbox. By calling Matlab procedure the evaluation of regional yarn damage degree implemented onLabview software platform. System operation results are consistent with artificial actual testing proving the validity of the research methods and results.(3) The implementation of data communications and online monitoring system interface.Based on the Labview software platform, through a serial port communication based on modbus protocol,the real-time data transmission program and online monitoring system interface are written.The evaluation data of real-time data processing program is sent to the loom control system, to make decisions for loom control system.
