Thiazole compounds containing sulfur and nitrogen heteroatom have a wide range of biological activity. It showed a series of excellent characteristics in pharmacy field, such as antimicrobial, anti-tumor, anti-cancer and anti-viral activities. In addition, it can also be used as fungicides, insecticides and plant growth regulators and so on. Furthermore, thiazoline ketone compounds can be used as intermediates of pharmaceuticals, pesticides and dyes, has important applications in organic synthesis, which has been widespread concern.Mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41 was widely used as a catalyst support research due to huge surface area and stable chemical properties. Therefore, we will mainly investigation and research on this kind of catalyst carriers. On the basis of this, Schiff bases immobilized onto mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41 form a new composite functional materials, together with the metal salt ligand, and we studied the catalytic cyclization reaction of carbonyl compounds(aldehydes, ketones ring and isatin compounds) cyclization condensed with an amine compounds and thioglycolic acids using the catalyst, and studied its catalytic properties. This thesis is divided into the following two parts:The first part of the literature review describes the features of heterogeneous catalysts Schiff base immobilized onto the mesoporous MCM-41 applied research in organic synthesis reactions. Condensation reaction research progress of aldehydes, cyclic ketones, diketones and amine with thioglycolic acid. The experimental section include four aspects as followed:1. The synthesis of MCM-41 mesoporous molecular sieves modified by Schiff base and characterization included IR, SEM, TEM and XRD.2. Schiff base modified MCM-41 mesoporous molecular sieves with a metal salt ligand common catalytic the cyclization condensation reaction of imines(or aldehyde and amine) with thioglycolic acids, including “two-component” and “three-component” received a series of 4- thiazoline ketone derivatives, which yields up to 98% and 99%. In addition, such catalysts can be recycled, after six recycling the catalyst to maintain good catalytic activity, still obtain yields of 85% and 83%.3. Spiro thiazole derivatives were synthesized by the condensation reaction of cyclic ketone and amine with thioglycolic acid using Schiff base modified MCM-41 mesoporous molecular sieves and metal complex catalytic. A series of substituted amines were investigated and found that this can be a good catalyst a series of substituted amines was investigated and found that this catalytic can be a good catalyst for the catalytic reaction. Its yield up to 97%.4. A series of spiro [indole- thiazolidinone] derivatives(33 kinds) were synthesized by the Schiff base modified MCM-41 mesoporous molecular sieves with a metal salt ligand common catalytic imide(isatin and amine) with thioglycolic acid ring condensation reaction, yield up to 99%. In addition, the catalyst recycling 7 times, there are still good catalytic effect, yield of 85%.
