Under the driving of information technology, modern manufacturing technology is developing rapidly based on the demand of multifunctional and high performance of high-tech products. At the same time, the request of key parts processing and surface strengthening is becoming higher.Laser electrochemical composite deposition technique is an efficient processing technology that combined the laser processing and electrochemical machining. It makes full use of laser thermal-mechanical effect to enhance or promote the process of electrochemical reaction. Thus, complex shape can be rapidly prototyped on the surface of conductive substrate and semiconductor, improving the deposition rate, quality and performance. Aiming at the flexible and rapid prototyping in the modern processing, the application of composite technology will greatly promote the development of special processing technology.Based on the laser enhancing electrochemical composite deposition, the online detection of laser thermal effect and mechanical effect was carried out and the performance test of composite deposition was studied. Combined with the theory and experiment results, the experiment parameters are further optimized. The main research content are as follows:1. The mechanism of laser enhanced electrochemical composition was discussed and the thermal-mechanical effect was discussed and analyzed. Then the mechanical model of the plasma, the bubble pulsation and jet impact was set up generated by laser underwater and the heat transfer of solid-liquid interface as well as the distribution of temperature field underwater was studied. Finally, the influence of the thermal effect, mechanical effect and photoelectric effect on electrochemical deposition was analyzed respectively, which provides theoretical basis for the parameter optimization in subsequent tests.2. The process detection system of laser electrochemical composite deposition was constructed and the system mainly included the laser electrochemical composite deposition system and process detection system. The laser electrochemical composite deposition system is the combination of laser irradiation system and electrochemical deposition system to achieve rapid composite deposition and processing. Detection system included the system of irradiating zone temperature field testing and the impact stress testing as well as the device of the quality detection and sample performance test.3. The experiment of process detection was carried out and the sample was obtained on 304 stainless steel cathode in the CuSO4 saturated electrolyte. The thermal-mechanical effect of laser was detected under different processing parameters. The hydrophone was used to test the sound pressure signal and the infrared thermal imager was utilized to record the temperature gradient. Finally, through the test and analysis of the deposition rate and grain size, the processing parameters were optimized and the results were verified through the strength test.Through the summery and analysis of the experiments results, the laser thermal-mechanical effect can effectively improve the performance of the sediments, speed up the deposition rate and fine grains. Composite deposition method can effectively monitor the laser thermal effect online and provide the technical support for the application of laser electrochemical composite deposition technology, greatly promoting the further development of the laser electrochemical machining technology.
