Due to surface plasmon can break through optical diffraction limit, nanoscale metal surface plasmon has become a hot spot in the study of nanostructure science today. Become of its unique properties(surface local area and the near field enhancements), surface plasmon can be used for information storage, imaging, solar cells, the nanoscale optoelectronic devices and biosensors etc. This thesis mainly around the surface plasmon coupled quantum dot fluorescent aspects research,including the specific research work:1. Surface plasmon coupled CdSe quantum dot fluorescent and silver nanowires smuggled output beam.Using self-made confocal microscopic imaging device coupled quantum dot fluorescent nanowires SPP, which within the nanowires transmission and port formed by the emergence of exciton-plasma-photon conversion process. The study found that for a single silver nanowires, adopted the focus of lens cannot stimulate SPP in central way. After the nanowires coated quantum dots, excitation can be observed from the center of silver nanowires light phenomenon. This shows that the quantum dots can improve the wave vector of excitation nanowires SPP. In addition, also study groped for ethylene glycol preparation of silver nanowires, the influence of gain repeat rate is high, the surface is smooth and silver nanowire diameter greater than 150 nm.2. Surrounding medium of the influence of the refractive index distribution of silver nanowires SPP.Covering the medium the refractive index of glass substrate is studied on the silver nanowire SPP local field distribution, the influence of the transmission length,effective mode area,ect, and found that homogeneous dielectric material will have a uniform SPP field distribution and the larger L. As the substrate and the cladding refractive index difference got bigger, the hot spots, and hot distribution on the refractive index of medium and metal interface. Also has carried on the different partof the parameters for the diameter of the silver nanowires embedded in the PMMA SPP field distribution and the parameters for the thickness of PMMA dependencies.This paper research on the experiment carried out to verify the theory: when the medium of air and oil respectively nanowires SPP coupled quantum dot fluorescent and transmission problem in the nanowires, and found that the transmission loss of both 92% and 85%, respectively, and the theory simulation are basically.3. Moreover,compared with silver nanowires, polarization effect on alloy nanotubes is weaker. In theory have been carried out of verify the conclusions, and further find nanotubes for polarization dependence of far weaker the line. In addition, for gold nanotubes, when the polarization direction is perpendicular to the length axis, there are a large number of SPP internal energy into a pipe.
