Coalbed methane is a kind of unconventional natural gas, which is stored in coal seam by adsorption state, the function of energy structure in our country is becoming more and more obvious. In the process of CBM exploration and development, especially in the process of CBM gas wells’ information management are still need to make more efforts, promoted the development of CBM gas wells and provided a long historical data records, included the ability to provide reasonable and reliable production data storage, management and analysis functions, and help to understand the dynamic change of production is the target of system developer.This thesis is based on the background about “algorithm analysis and integration in water production data about coal seam gas field surface gathering and transpotation project”. As the production data of 40 gas wells of first phase project in Panhe Demonstration Area as the research object. First, it use the gray prediction model and BP neural network prediction moel by using Matlab programming to achieve the shortterm forecast of water production respectively. It takes PH46-02 well as an example, after calculated and tested, the prediction results are accurate, which can be further understood the characteristics of water production in the process of CBM gas production and provided services in subsequent production.In addition, taking Visual Studio 2010 as the development platform, and use Access as the system database, then combined with Arc GIS Engine component to complete the design and implementation of water production data management and analysis system about CBM gas wells. First of all, through arranging and storing the production data of 40 gas wells of first phase project in Panhe Demonstration Area, then implemented the function about data management and spatial-temporal analysis through the software interface operation. Besides, provided some function about analysis results display, thematic map drawing and print output, etc. All of these could help managers to supply some decision-makings in CBM gas production.
