In recent years, the LED lighting is widely used and needed in the field of architecture, business, etc. And the stamping process of LED heat dissipating body has become the key link of the whole quality assurance and application. The manufacture of heat dissipating body of LED type P463LZ-1 lamp in this topic use progressive die stamping process, and the stamping process is generally six stages, namely, deep drawing, reverse drawing, reverse drawing, punching, shrinkage, shrinkage. Premised with assurance quality, this paper changes six progressive stamping into two stage progressive stamping for increasing production efficiency while reducing production cost on the basis of the analysis of stamping error and constrained with disappearing wrinkle and crack. The specific research contents are as follows:Research on precision of sheet metal formation and construction of error mathematical model. First, the error source of formation accuracy is divided into 11 factors whose impacts are analyzed individually. Based on Chaos Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm and Support Vector Machine Regression, a general mathematical model of sheet metal stamping error is studied. Through DYNAFORM simulation, correctness of the error mathematical model is verified with the cylindrical part.Research on the new stamping process by changing the six stage progressive die into two stage progressive stamping for heat dissipating body of LED type P463LZ-1 lamp. The study of two stage stamping based on the theory of one time deep drawing forming and one time shrinkage forming. Combined drawing method is used to complete the drawing, reverse drawing and reverse drawing process, and the blanking, shrinkage; punching process is comprehensively done by stamping combination method. The software of DYNAFORM is employed to validate the feasibility of the two stage technology by simulation.Research on the Two stage stamping process error mathematical model of metal formation in stamping for the heat dissipating body of LED type P463LZ-1 lamp. Based on the error model and the two stage stamping process, the construction for the heat dissipating body of LED type P463LZ-1 lamp is done. Through the analysis of simulation and the error model, the process parameters are optimized, which not only verifies the reliability of the concrete model but also provides the optimum process parameters for enterprises.Based on error model of the Two stage stamping process and the two stage stamping process, the design of the two stage progressive die for the heat dissipating body of LED type P463LZ-1 lamp is done. Through the analysis of the main difficulties in the design and the consideration of the possible processing defects from simulation and those predicted by the error model, a solution is put forward and the corresponding design is fulfilled. Comparison is made between the new stamping process and the current process with 6 stage progressive die for the economic benefits and processing efficiency. It may be reached for the research achievement to be actuated in the prediction and active control of the stamping forming error of the part, guiding the real production.
