Research And Application On The Generalized Fixture For The Satellite Fairing

The satellitic fairing is an important part of the launcher. The fixture is one of the pivotal equipments for the assembly of the satellitic fairing, which can guarantee the quality and production efficiency of the fairing.Supported by Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality in the project of the study for information technology on the satellitic fairing, this paper researched a satellitic fairing fixture which could fit for the many types. The satellitic fairing fixture is higher flexibility, more efficient and generalization by the digital, standard, intelligent technology and so on. The main work includes as following aspects:1) Analyzed the technical parameter, put forward the holistic project of the fixture based on the structural characteristic of the satellitic fairing.2) Studied on the key technology of the satellitic fairing fixture. Analyzed the characteristic of the digital, standard and intelligent technology. Study on the key technology from the fixture configuration, assembly technics and so on. At the same time, discussed some schemes for the assembly process using those advanced technology.3) Designed the structure for the fixture of satellitic fairing. Analyzed the basic techno-requirement while we designed the assembly equipment. Researched the general pedestal, reconfigurable chuck board system and flexible localizer system. Contrasted and analyzed a lot of schemes for requirement of each system. Establish the detailed structure of fixture.4) Theoretically analyzed the error in assembly process, establish the model of propagation of error, and taking the pallet as a example, verify the feasibility of the model.
