For the analysis of the present development and actuality of embedded medical detection device from home and abroad, this paper researches on the design of software and hardware of this embedded system platform, which based on detecting the performance and parameters of electronic sphygmomanometers as the starting point. ARM processor S3C2410A chip and LPC2114,which are widely used, are adopted by this system, with precise wrist gas-closed model system. The electronic detection system is designed into two individual parts, sample device and terminal. Base on the components of the system. The entire design of circuit and software are particularly introduced, including the circuit and drive of the control module. Also, the study and implement of the stream interface driver and application, which run on the Window CE operating system, are mentioned in this paper at the same time. The design and implementation of the data collection, data display and data processing functions was introduced on the part of terminal in this paper. At the mean time it also make a study on the design and implementation of the power control module driver which are running under Windows CE operating system.This system, which can accurately detect the performance and parameters of electronic sphygmomanometers, can also be used for reference in some other field. After a series of enhanced functionality and performance optimization, it is also intended for use in other medical devices detection field.
