Air conditioning system in large space buildings cosume a lot of energy, so natural ventilation, which is in line with the concepts of sustainability and green energy, is widely acknowledged nowadays. It is important to find out how to signi?cantly modify the natural ventilation behaviour in large space buildings to make people thermal comfortable. Computational ?uid dynamics (CFD) techniques has become an important tool to study ventilation mode, because it can give parameters such as temperature and velocity value at any place in the room, which can help us evaluate the ventilation mode. This paper explores temperature field and velocity field under natural ventilation modes in a large space building using computational ?uid dynamics (CFD) techniques. The three-dimensional geometry model was constructed according to engineering design dimensions dimensions. Unstructured tetrahedral mesh, the standard two-equation k?εturbulence mode, simple algorithm and wall function were used in CFD simulation. The solar radiation, human heat sink and heat sink on the surface of water were studied and the solar radiation was emphasized. The effects of two kind of glass on thermal environment at spring were compared, then the temperature field and velocity field under different ventilation modes at the time of spring, early summer, midsummer and autumn were presented using computational ?uid dynamics techniques. The results showed double-coated glass compared heat reflector glass reduced the solar radiation more effectively. At the time of spring, early summer and autumn, programme one: air supply through tuyere1,4 , firefighting tuyeres and air exhaust through tuyere1,4; programme two: air supply through tuyere1, firefighting tuyeres and air exhaust through other tuyeres, The above two kinds of programmes could reach thermal comfort. At the time of midsummer, it was difficult to reach thermal comfort through natural ventilation, so wind speed compensation was suggested to improve indoor thermal environment.
