In the hybrid high-rise building structure, frame-corewall structure is one of themost used structure types. For this structural system, controversy is still existing in theengineering field both at home and abroad. Researchers think the seismic behavior ofthis structural system depends mainly on the reinforced concrete core tube and it isuncoordinated, because the reinforced concrete core tube has enough stiffness and lessstrength relatively and the steel or steel reinforced concrete frame is just opposite, so itis particularly important to effectively assess its seismic performance. Our specificationdoes not give the quantitative index on the deformation performance of this structureand components. Therefore, it is significant to study the deformation index to assess theseismic behavior of this structural form in practice.In this paper, according to the deformation characteristic of the hybrid structure,inter-story displacement is divided the into physical inter-story displacement and thenonphysical inter-story displacement, the characteristic on the rotational angel at floorplan of each vertical component and physical inter-story displacement and inter-storydisplacement are analyzed; on the basis of the current seismic code, the performancelevel and its division of the hybrid structure and components are defined, physicalinter-story displacement angle and inter-story displacement angle as the double controlindexes are used for the hybrid structure, plastic rotation angle is used for components,the existing research results are referenced and a large number test data of shear wall isstatistics analyzed, the deformation performance indexes of structure and shear wallcomponent are quantitative analyzed, the deformation performance indexes of beamsand columns are referenced on the basis of the American specification FEMA356, so that a set of deformation performance indexes system of the hybrid structure and itscomponents is eventually established; based on the above, through the nonlinearanalysis and performance assessment software for3D structure, nonlinear time-historyanalysis method is used to analyze the seismic performance of a practical hybridstructure, inter-story displacement angle and plastic hinge rotation is used on thestructure level and component level in this process. The results show that the componentangular deformation index is better than a single inter-story displacement angle index inthe seismic performance analysis of the building structure. The results of this paper haveimportant reference value for engineering practice.
