At the moment, with the development of economy and the urgency of the projectconstruction, time for the construction of the Tianjin Binhai new area has become akey factor. The increasingly urgent demand for soil resources makes the filledfoundation formed by the sea land need to reinforce immediately. But at the moment,reclamation area still belong to the filled clay with flow state, which of the high watercontent (more than120%), does not yet have bearing capacity, result machinery can’twork on the foundation. So the traditional technology of vacuum preloading can’tmeet the needs of reclamation project. And it has affected the area construction speed.On the other hand, sand source for the soft ground reinforcement is more andmore shortage with the development of the project construction. Especially the rapiddevelopment of Tanjin East port with strategic significance is restricted. The hightransportation cost of sand and soil materials and the problem that major mechanicalhas no entry conditions become obstacle. Need put forward, Therefore, it isimportant to put forward a new way that can reclaimed quickly soft soil foundation. Itcan change soft soil (slurry) to engineering soil, thus improve the working efficiency,save time, reduce the cost. Traditional soft foundation reinforcement methodsalready can not adapt to the need of fast development. We need a new method toreinforce the filled soil, and through demonstration projects to promote.The purpose of this topic is the rapid reinforcement of the filled clay with highwater content. We put forward a new way that it is suitable for vacuum preloading.Through the study of reinforcement effect on the field test, this article focuses on thefollowing questions in-depth study:(1) Research of new technology: Solve the shortage problem of sand source oftension in Tianjin region;(2) Research of the field test: Through field test study of the reinforcement effectof the new technology, in preparation for the new process technology regulationsformulated.(3) The establishment of the numerical model: The finite element analysis wascarried out on the new technology of vacuum preloading;...
