Backer wheel reclaimer use bucket wheel to prepare for materials continuously,which is the professional equipment that help to transport and load materials in bulkmaterial storage yard. Now, it has been widely used in factories such as ports, yards,cement mills, to do some digging work. With the loading weight of the material workincreases, the reliability of the mechanical system and hydraulic system in bucket wheelreclaimer have become an important guarantee for the safe and stable operation ofequipment. This paper choose Qinhuangdao port coal two period as the object, in order tosolve the problem of the counterweight tripod, reclaimer arm collision, and the intelligentmonitoring of the pitch hydraulic system and other issues. It is aimed at combining thescene’s situation to improve the scheme.The counterweight tripod in the bucket wheel reclaimer occupies an importantposition. It is an important mechanism reclaimer’s to normal work and pitching processand it also plays key role in the normal operation of reclaimer. Based on the analysis of theoriginal design of the tripod, through the finite element modeling to find out the designdefects of the original weight of the tripod, concluding that the simulation results and fielddate are reaching an agreement. In order to save raw meter oaks and reduce repair cost,increase the contact beams at hydraulic cylinder rod, through the finite element checking,it is proved that the improved scheme meet the requirement, and it reached the applicationin the actual equipment.According to the arm collision accident, when track double reclaimer work at thesame time, this paper bases on the crane travel encoder, support for rotary encoder,establishing a large arm collision avoidance mathematical model. It is also the existingcontrol system of the coal feeding develops the collision early warning system of the armindependently. Based on the VR and MATLAB software platform, design a set ofanti-collision virtual reality system. According to field date collection form real-timemonitoring picture, the staff can combine these real-time images, continuously adjust thebucket wheel reclaimer’s working condition, prevent the occurrence of accidental collisionprotecting the computer’s and people’s security. Luffing system of hydraulic cylinder’s working state is one of the key factorsaffecting the reliability of equipment operation. According to the traditional manualmonitoring mode with low precision, unable to realize the unattended, this paper uses theLABVIEW software to develop the monitoring interface to a set of interactive. Throughthe real-time detection of pitch cylinder temperature pressure sensor signal, the staff canfully understanding work pitch hydraulic cylinder. Once a problem is found, it can alarmstaff to do the related operations, and accurately determine fault types and solutions, so asto intelligent monitoring pitch hydraulic cylinder.The content of this paper has important theoretical significance and practical value toimprove the safety and reliability of the bucket wheel reclaimer of mechanical system andhydraulic system.
