Adjacent to Southeast Asia, China is in close contact since ancient times, with theongoing cooperation between ASEAN FTA, China and Southeast Asian countries, exchanges in the political, economic, cultural and other aspects of more frequent andcloser cooperation. The other hand, China and Southeast Asian countries belong to thedeveloping countries is not only similarities in geography, climate and culture, and inmany aspects, but also facing similar in urban development and construction problems.Through the study of urban problems in Southeast Asia, not only with reference to thecontemporary urban development in China, but also play an important role to developstrategies to Chinese diplomacy, trade, cultural exchanges and other aspects. Therefore, the morphology of the urban space mountain in Southeast Asia not only has academicvalue, but practical significance. At the same time, the evolution of spatial form as the external representation of thecity, is the combined effect of the economic, social, cultural, environmental and otherform, with the dynamic and differences, through space we can reveal the externalmorphology of the urban construction (appearance) and internal economic and SocialDevelopment (nature) relevance, in order to better understand the process of urbandevelopment and the evolution of the law. In view of this, the evolution of the foreigninstructors presented to Mountain Urban Form column theory and case studies to spatialform as the starting point, hopes to form a covering America, Europe, Southeast Asia,Japan, Australia, the United Kingdom and other regions, on foreign holisticunderstanding of the basic theory and basic research mountainous urban developmentand construction, urban development and construction to expand abroad mountainoustheory and case studies of the breadth and depth of the column, better guidanceurbanization of mountainous regions.Based on this background, the paper selected is similar to the development ofChina’s mountainous city in Southeast Asia as a research object, urban spatial form asan entry point to the temporal development of the spindle, from ancient times, thecolonial period, the three stages of the modern era, with different stage of culturalgeography affect the distribution by type of environment, a typical case as support forthe evolution of urban form mountain in Southeast Asia for a more complete diachronicstudy, focus found in Southeast Asia morphological evolution of urban space mountain tracks, elements, impact factor and mode characteristics, and explore urban morphologyof the intrinsic relationship between social, economic and cultural development betweenchanges, summarized the basic rules of Southeast Asia’s urban morphology of themountain, the mountain city of deepening and expanding a useful exploration.Thesis is divided into seven chapters: introduction, mainly on the domestic andinternational research and development related concepts and overview of researchbackground, defining the scope, purpose and significance of the research, researchmethods and content framework. The second chapter, an overview of the developmentof the mountainous city in Southeast Asia, Southeast Asia, to generate a mountainenvironment, mountain elaborate process of urban development from an economic, social, geographic, and cultural analysis. Chapter III, Chapters IV and V, respectively, discussed the ancient period, the colonial period, the evolution of urban spatialmorphology mountain in Southeast Asia in modern times, its structure is basically thesame:1) describes the different stages of the evolution of urban spatial morphologyMountain history background2) in the case series analysis is based on a typical sumMountain urban spatial morphology evolution path of each period and the developmentprocess, analyze its main elements3) from the social, economic, political, andcultural perspective of the internal mechanism analysis of urban spatial morphologyevolution of mountain;4) induction and deduction of Mountain morphological typesand patterns of urban space, analysis and evaluation of its characteristics.
