Drainage planning mainly divided into two parts: rainwater and sewageengineering, they occupy important positions in the urban infrastructure construction.Basing on full investigation and analysis to present situation and existing problems ofurban drainage planning of XinYu. The article gives concrete measures to the furtherrefinement and optimization. Through the study of urban drainage system planning itmay give good advices to the workers in this field. In practical work, we should payfull attention to development conditions, development strategy, management level ofrelevant industries and the natural conditions, and the new features of urban drainagesystem planning. By this way, We can make suitable urban drainage system planningand design for the local characteristics, then provide reference for other similartopography, geomorphology and offer reference of regions or cities.The main results of this article are as follows:1, Basing on the investigations of the city construction of JiangXi Province, thearticle analyzes the current main problems of the drainage system, gives somesuggestions on the rational selection of drainage system, and corresponding methodsto reconstruct old drainage system;2, Expound the main current displacement forecasting methods, analyzes the keyindexes, reasonable numerical selection reference suggestions;3, On the basis of a series of questions on urban rainwater, puts forward thesignificance of rainwater utilization, as well as response measures and methods;4, Combined with the special urban drainage planning outline in JiangXiProvince (trial)", select "XinYu city drainage special planning (2008~2030)" asinstances, in order to provide reference for other domestic similar cities.
