Boiler is one of the three main equipments of power plant, Through theworking medium converts heat energy to kinetic energy to drive a turbine to generate electricity, boiler material in the process of long.term use due to the influence of the working medium temperature and pressure will produce the phenomenon such as stress fatigue and creep. Of the large capacity thermal powerunit supercritical boiler steam separator is important component of launch system components, it is the centre of the starting system, main effect is to separate the steam and water. In boiler start.up process especially in the initial stage of working medium pressure and temperature in shorter time will happen very big change, separator in large temperature will produce thermal stress, in thecase of higher temperature, the stress concentration phenomenon occurs whenthe steam separator in fatigue damage to shorten the service life of the waterseparator.Research object of this article is the production of a certain type of Don-gFang boiler factory supercritical once. through boiler (600MW), water separator, first using PROE software to create3D entity model, water separator, andthen the model imported into ANSYS software by using the principle of the finite element method based on the known data calculation to simulate the working medium temperature changes separator after long time stop is started in the process of temperature distribution and temperature variation law with time,and on the basis of the simulated temperature field simulation to calculate thethermal stress generated by separator in this phase, and then use the start of the working medium pressure and temperature data of mechanical stress and total stress a design fatigue curve and the corresponding loss calculation methodfor boiler steam separator in the life loss analysis in the process of cold start.
