Along with development of modern city, the problems caused by subwayvibrations is increasing,so that we should pay attention to it. This study discussresearch summary concerning that problem, introducing model, boundary conditions, and the processing of train loads, choosing a adjacent tunnel between subway line2and subway line4in Wu Han Metro as the research object, using a finite element software ANSYS to analyze the tunnel, and adopt finite element numerical simulation toanalyze the respond of the tunnel and the nearby buildings under the train loadsWe can find the vibration rules of ground points as follows when inspect theground points:1)The horizontal vibration acceleration level of ground points is lessthan vertical vibration acceleration level, and the vibration acceleration level isdamping with the increase of tunnel distance.2)The vibration rules of ground pointsis not the same when the tunnels have trains.3)It should avoid that trains operate inall the tunnels, preventing dangerous accidents. It can conduct a conclusion as follows when analyze the respond of buildings onthe four tunnels:1)The horizontal vibration acceleration level in the buildings have anincrease trend, but the vibration acceleration level is very close to it. In the first fivelayers, the vibration acceleration level is more fierce than the others. It will increaseafter the fifth layer.2)the vibration level of low layers buildings is more fierce thanthe buildings with high layers on the same conditions.3)When change the size offloor thickness and beam in the buildings, it also has influences to the respond of trainvibrations.
