As a high-speed rotating machinery whose structure is complex, aero-engine is alwaysworking in bad conditions, such as high temperature, high pressure, high rotation speed and highload。So the vibration failure rate is usually high. However, the current researches aimed at thevibration of the whole aero-engine are biased towards the theoretical and experimental research, andthe results are always abstract. According to the abstract data and curve, the dynamic behavior of therotor, casing and changing stator gap in the whole aero-engine vibration cannot be observed directly.In order to make it easier for the researchers to intuitively and deeply understand the vibration processand the related rule and essence of the whole aero-engine and to provide more effective methods forthe whole aero-engine vibration diagnosis, a new data processing method, namely visualizationtechnology, is proposed in this paper, Visualization technology can realize the data informationprocessing of the whole aero-engine vibration, and directly reproduced the vibration of the wholeaero-engine by using the method of graphic animation. The main research contents are as follows:(1) Based on OPENGL technology, the idea of object-oriented programming is adopted, and thevisualization parameters of the aero-engine rotor, plate, blade, casing, rolling bearing and other keycomponents are2d and3d modeled. Finally, the whole aero-engine model is assembled. By settingthe different parameters, different aircraft engine modeling can be implemented.(2) The mechanism of index of serial number is set up, and by using the unified serial number,one-to-one relationship between the experimental data or simulation and visualization model machineis created. The machine vibration simulation or experimental data are imported, so data-drivenvisualization model is implemented, and animations are produced.(3) The detection technology of rotor-stator clearance in rubbing positions is studied, Therubbing positions can be determined by inputting the rotor-stator clearance, and the vibration data ofrotor and casing. Meanwhile, by using particle system technology, the spark rubbing simulation isrelized; Finally, the aero-engine rubbing fault simulation is realized by using the simulation data, Andthe effectiveness of the method is verifed.(4) The rotor elastic line is the aero-engine vibration modes under actual working conditions.through the elastic line for real-time testing of rotor, the deformed state of the rotor can be found, andthe dangerous section which is easy to produce stator rotor rubbing can be found,too. Based on theZT-3multifunction rotor test rig, the dynamic display of rotor elastic line is achieved, And theeffectiveness of the method is verifed.
