Along with the rapid economic development of society and the increasing scale of the city, the urban metro has developed rapidly. Subway-induced vibration response of ground surface and building structure has attracted more and more attention. It is very necessary that study in these areas should be carried out. This paper measured the vibration response of the surface that crossed by the Guangzhou Metro Line3between building1and building2of South China University of Technology National Science Park. This paper also measured the vibration response of building1of South China University of Technology National Science Park, building4of district East, building16of district East and building21of district East. We used the FEA Software SAP2000to build three-dimensional models of the building1of South China University of Technology National Science Park, building16and building21of district East to discuss these questions associated with actual measurement data. The mainly research in this paper is as follows:(1) According to the measured data ground vibration, this paper got the subway-induced vibration propagation in the ground surface, the Fourier spectrum and the vibration level. The composition and subway vibration frequency distribution in each frequency band provides a reference for future studies on MTR isolation. Vibration level was compared with limits to obtain the ground vibration levels along the MTR.(2) According to the measured vertical vibration response of building1of South China University of Technology National Science Park, building4of district East, building16of district East and building21of district East, this paper established finite element models of building1of South China University of Technology National Science Park, building16of district East and building21of district East, to get the vertical vibration propagation in the frame structure, the vibration response characteristics, and the vibration levels of building structures along the MTR.(3) By changing the parameters of the frame structure and contrasting calculation results, this paper got the effects of changes in the beam cross section, column section, slab thickness, number of layers and the story height on the subway-introduced vibration response of the frame structure, and provided suggestions for the design of building structures along the MTR.
