High strength lightweight aggregate concrete has the characteristics of high strength,light weight, high durability, and it has been wildly used in bridge engineering, high-risebuildings and so, its application in structure can effectively reduce the weight of structureitself, reduce the cross-section dimensions, then this will help to improve the seismicperformance of the overall structure. Meanwhile the failure of deep flexural members isshear failure of the D region has no a uniformed theory to calculate both here and abroad.However with the development and renew of finite element software, numerical simulationmethod is becoming a hot research of this kind member. Therefore, carry out the research ofHSLAC deep flexural members based on infinite element software, can be used asimportant theoretical basis for failure of this kind of members.In this paper, our research based on the shear failure of8HSLAC deep flexural simplysupported beams under concentrate load, these beams with different shear span ratio of0.25~1, span-depth ratio of2~3and with concrete strength of LC40, numerical simulation iscarried out by the finite element software ABAQUS, and we also consider the damage ofconcrete To verify the software of shear bearing capacity of rationality and accuracy in theresearch of these members, Research shows that:(1) shear capacity through simulation agreewell with the experimental results, error at0.78%~9.91%.(2) Due to the test conditions, testwithout load deflection decline curve segment, but the simulation results of the loaddeflection curves agree with the curve rising part(3) Through the analysis of the simulationcomponent failure pattern, the stress distribution and crack development, showed goodagreement with test. These results show that the Application of finite element analysissoftware ABAQUS of high strength lightweight aggregate concrete deep flexural beams isreasonable.At the same time,we analyze the parameters of deep flexural members by thissoftware. then analyze impact of shear capacity of HSLAC deep flexural members throughthe method of changing the shear span ratio and span depth ratio, this analysis showsthat:(1)Under the action of concentrated load, change of span depth ratio has very little effect on shear capacity, while the shear span ratio significantly affect the shear properties,with the shear span ratio decreases, shear bearing capacity increases significantly.(2)Loaddeflection curve of simulation is a ladder distribution with different shear span ratio, it alsoshows that span depth ratio has little influence to the curve.(3)With the increasing span todepth ratio and shear span ratio, bending characteristics of deep flexural failure is graduallyobvious.
