Thermoacoustic refrigeration is a new refrigeration technology,It is based on theprinciple of thermoacoustic effect and has the advantages of simple structure, stableoperation, long service life, low noise etc. Especially the miniature thermoacousticrefrigerator has incomparable advantages in microelectronic cooling.This paper describes the research background of miniature thermoacousticrefrigerator and its significance. Describe the domestic and international developmentprocess in detail. The theories which were proposed since the discovery of thermoacousticeffect are summarized. A detailed qualitative analysis on acoustic refrigeration processfrom the view of thermodynamics and about the thermoacoustic effect involved in fluidmechanics, heat transfer and other basic knowledge are described. So we have a completeunderstanding of miniature thermoacoustic refrigerator.In order to verify the feasibility of using software Fluent numerical simulation ofthermoacoustic field. Firstly, simulate sound field of the straight tube, Simulation resultsand theoretical results of wave distribution are convergence. So explain the feasibility ofnumerical simulation with Fluent software. This paper describes the design of a miniaturethermoacoustic refrigerating machine of strengthen type, Using the ways that both frontend of the resonance tube into a conical tube and adjust the tail cavity longitudinaldimensions to reach resonance and increase the amplitude of the resonance tube.
