With the rapid development of space technology, the structure of satellites ismore and more complex. With the more strict requirements in reliability, stability,and precision, the requirement of satellite performance is higher and higher. Theflexible attachment increases the difficulty of satellite control and the simulationwork of satellite control on ground. So more reliable simulation test method andequipment is needed to ensure the accuracy and reliable of the satellite systembefore launched. According to the flexible satellite system with two solar panels,this paper design a sliding mode variable structure attitude control law and aphysical simulation method and equipment used for the simulation of satelliteattitude control system on ground, and then analyses the credibility of the physicalsimulation system.First, this paper introduces the development situation in satellite attitude controland the simulation method on ground, establishes the satellite attitude kinematicsmodel on euler angles and quaternion, and then establishes the satellite dynamicsmodel both based on rigid satellite and the flexible satellite with two solar panels.Secondly, according to the flexible satellite system with two solar panels, thispaper designs the siding mode variable structure law on which the mathematicalsimulation is set up. Then the simulation result is compared with the mathematicalsimulation result based on the classic PD attitude control, verifying the superiorityof the sliding mode variable structure control in satellite attitude control.Thirdly, this paper researches a physical simulation experiment scheme whosecore component is the3-axis air bearing table. Then the attitude control subsystemof the physical simulation system is analyzed and introduced in detail. Under theexisting conditions, this paper set up the hardware-in-the-loop satellite attitudereal-time simulation experiment, which is compared with the mathematicalsimulation result, verifying the correctness and effectiveness of the controlalgorithm designed.Finally, according to the physical simulation system researched, this paperanalyses the credibility, using a similarity calculation theory. Several experimentsare designed to deduce the calculation method and formula of the physicalsimulation system credibility, combined with the real satellite experiment data.
