| The voice coil motor belongs to a special structure of electromagneticmechanism, according to its trajectory it can be classified as linear and rotary voicecoil motor. Voice coil motor is gaining more and more application on manyoccasions, as it has flexible structure and high-frequency response and it has no sloteffect. In the field of aerospace, voice coil motor is the most important unit for theload on the limited angle with precision servo drive, to lighten its weight, but alsoto adapt to the structural characteristics of the voice coil motors, its rotating range islimited, on some special occasions, it requires both the rotating part to scan thecontinuous multi-ring, but also can be precisely controlled within the target range,and therefore, with the direction of a mechanical restriction, the rotating part of thevoice coil motor can’t rotate freely, the current mechanism of the voice coil motorcan’t meet this requirement, and the current products can’t achieve this function.A special mechanism of the voice coil motor used as a limited angle actuator isintroduced in this paper, its principle and equivalent magnetic circuit are alsopresented in the article. The special restriction between dimension parameters isanalyzed in the second chapter. By using FEM software Ansoft, its model simulation,parameter calculation and armature reaction are studied in the paper. Comparisonresults of air gap magnetic density, maximum torque and weight are givencorresponding to different stator support materials. The selection of the basematerial of the stator is given for different occasions.The current research of the voice coil motor mainly focus in maximum motortorque output and improving the coefficient with the smallest volume of motor thatobtain nearly constant torque coefficient. The references rarely involve the motorthermal deformationã€thermal stress and coil loss areas, a detailed study of theseaspects is studied in the paper. For the heating problem of the voice coil motor, thepaper gave a voice coil motor temperature field calculation, and interconnected withthe analysis of the mechanism deformation and thermal stress. The principle ofselecting materials is noted when considering the institutional coordination.Because of the voice coil motor described in this paper used in specialconditions, the structure of the voice coil motor is optimized and through SN curvemethod for strength checking, the mechanism of fatigue life and the limits of theyield strength of bodies are thoroughly studied in the paper. At last, theperformances of the model motor, including aspects of electrical time constant, fluxdensity, torque coefficient, and other experiments have tested. The results indicate that the proposed structure of the voice coil motor meet the design requirements. |
