A fly-around motion might be necessary for many on-orbit missions such as closeinspection of target satellite, close short-time observation and performance testing of ahigh-precision flight vehicle without intercepting a target and so on.In the future,it willhave greater value in space countermeasure.This paper,emphasizes on flying aroundinitialization problem,based on an elliptical orbit objectives.The main contents includethe following aspects.Firstly,the reasonable relative motion model is established and then linearized onthe equations.This article will use the TH equation in the apparent form of the targetorbit true anomaly.And then derived the state transition matrix of the fly-around relativemotion on the elliptical orbit,obtained a closed form solution of TH equation.And usingthe condition of having periodic solutions,derived the general initialization conditions offorming periodic orbit based on the fly-around relative dynamic motion on the ellipticalorbit.Based on the closed-form solutions of TH equation,derived the initial condition offorming relative periodic orbit.Secondly,according to the the flight constraints during the spacecraft flyingaround,designing reasonable periodic flying around orbit.Considering flight safetyconstraints,the task demand constraints,the optimal energy consumption constraintcase,designed to make the spacecraft formation flying around a closed cycle tracksflying around,get the necessary constraints to its initial state meet;studied in consideringthe above constraints under spacecraft flying around the track design issues,whilesimulation analysis,fly around in solving the constraints required to meet the initial stateof the spacecraft.Finally,the error may arise during the fly-around motion is analyzed,and analyzesthe impact on navigation errors and control errors fly around the track formed. Wereanalyzed from a theoretical point of navigation errors,control errors,and taking intoaccount the navigation and control errors,flying around the track on the formation ofperiodic constraint conditions affecting generated items and error analysis,the cause ofthe error.Propose a correction algorithm for the formation of flying around the track toimprove,and the simulation results validate its feasibility.
