The spacecraft has its own pointing stability and is equipped with higher resolutionpayloads, which put forward higher requirement for vibration control technology. Forsome more extensive interference frequency component vibration, if we only in order toreduce the resonance peak magnification and improve damping ratio, the high frequencyof vibration transmissibility would improve, which make the vibration isolationeffect becomes worse. Therefore, we need to find suitable damping measures. Thispaper presents a vibration unit based on the visco-elastic material constrained dampingstructure. In this paper, we also studied the damping principles and damping modelsabout visco-elastic materials; The paper analyzed the damping layer thickness, lengthand modulus’ effect on structural damping ratio, which used ANSYS Prony seriesmethod and take the frequency-dependent properties into account. This paper focusedon the constrained damping vibration isolator unit performance in vibration control. Themain research content is as follows:Firstly, the unit model and displacement functions are established according to thecharacteristics of shear deformation constrained damping structure. Visco-elasticmaterials’ temperature-frequency-dependent properties are successfully simulated usingfrequency-dependent complex modulus model and temperature equivalent WLFequation. The complex eigenvalues and damping ratio of visco-elastic lzod are solvedby QR damped method, comparing with the test results. The modeling and solving ofthis paper is accurate.Then, according to the initial structure isolation unit, the various parametersinfluence of damping layer damping ratio of isolation unit are analyzed by controlling asingle variable; Then by the analysis of the results, structure of isolation unit finallyconfirmed. Three-dimensional model is built to make preparation for finite elementanalysis and dynamic simulation.Finally, in order to get resonant frequencies and mode shapes, the modal analysisof isolation unit is proceed in ANSYS. In order to know the vibration isolation meansfor excitation of different size and orientation and transfer rate response curve, theisolation of performance analysis of X/Y/Z three directions of isolation unit isproceed in ADAMS/Vibration. This research method can fit the viscoelastic propertiesof the materials accurately, and it provides a more effective method for thedevelopment of the high decay rate isolation unit.
