| Investigation on the structural parameter identification is one of the mostimportant contents in the field of structural health monitoring. Majority of thestructural parameter identification methods can only evaluate the global changesof the structural systems but not the local damage with a constitutive model. Moreover, the most kinds of the excitations cannot be measured accurately inpractical engineering. In this paper, a method for the constitutive model parameteridentification is proposed with the output-only measurements. The main content isshown as follows.1. A constitutive model parameter identification method is proposed withunscented Kalman filter (UKF). The method is verified with a numericalsimulation of a nonlinear beam modeled by fiber beam column element.2. The constitutive model parameter identification method is implementedwith the incomplete measurements of the acceleration response only. This isconsistent with the practical application. Three cases of numerical simulation areconducted to validate this modification.3. The method is also improved to reduce the number of the state variableswhich only include the structural parameters considering the computationalefficiency. Three scenarios of numerical studies are used to verify theimprovement.4. Considering the loading environment is complicate in the practicalcondition, a method is proposed to simultaneous identify the constitutive modelparameters and load parameters with contaminated measurement. Numericalsimulation studies are utilized to verify the accuracy of the proposed identificationmethod. |
