In aerospace applications, satellites, solar panels and other devices often usepermanent magnet synchronous motor as a driving source to provide power, theperformance permanent magnet synchronous motor drive directly affects thestability of these devices. And because the complexity of the environmentaerospace equipment, for high-precision motor characteristics test system, highreal-time requirements make the test system has been difficult in the past to meetthe requirements.To solve the above problems, the main purpose of the development of a newpermanent magnet synchronous motor characteristics for the test system is relatedto the performance of permanent magnet synchronous motor drive parameters andautomated high-precision measurements. This paper studies the automated testsystem for permanent magnet synchronous motor.First, the article describes the principles and methods commonly used to testthe motor. For different parameters of the motor gives the correspondingappropriate test mathematical principles. And then separately for the motor torque-speed this feature for a detailed description of the test principle, because themotor torque-speed is critical to the permanent magnet motor. System hardwareand software design and experimental research laid the theoretical foundationafter.Then, from the actual needs of the project, carried out the overall frameworkdesigned to test the system. Detailed description of the function of each moduleand corresponding performance requirements, and in accordance with therequirements of the corresponding indicators equipment selection. Finally,expounded on the overall design of hardware and software. And, after a detaileddesign of the hardware platform, including the hardware design of each moduleand motor control designs. After the hardware design is complete, and thencarried out the detailed design of the software, the software part includes: overalldesign of the software and the design of each of the key functional modules,motor control and monitoring, data collection, data analysis and automated testprogram design.Finally, fit the data analysis and processing characteristics of the motor, thepaper traditional fitting algorithm-at the least squares method and limiting someshortcomings in the fitting process, the order of the polynomial need aspreadsheet, using orthogonal polynomials index is too small will affect thedegree of fit. So on this basis, we propose a new automatic test motor characteristic curve fitting algorithm-moving least squares method. Made amove for the traditional least squares method of least squares (LS) method isrelatively large improvements, so that the resulting curves and surfaces with highprecision, smooth and good, and many other advantages. This is consistent withproject needs motor characteristics test system is out of curve fitting system closerto the real characteristics of the motor itself, so the system has high accuracy androbustness.
