In recent years, with the continuous development of global economy andseaborne trade, the requirements on ship performance are more stringent. The deckcranes are affected by waves, when they are working. It is difficult to ensure cargosecurity. Therefore, I introduce the concept of wave compensation on the craneplatform. In this paper, I use the active wave compensation strategy, Due to the goodfollow-up characteristics of Pseudo-Derivative-Feedback Control, I propose FuzzyPDF Wave Compensation System on Offshore Crane.In this thesis, first I analyze the problems on replenishment at sea. Via thereaching of the marine crane overall structure, and based on the typical active wavecompensation control method, the Fuzzy PDF Wave Compensation System has beenproposed. In order to improve the tracking performance of the wave,I improve theoriginal PDF control method through introduction of differential, proportion, andanti-windup sectors. And using fuzzy self-tuning methods, I adjust PDF controllerparameters real-time to ensure that the system performance and stability underuncertainty cable tension or load. The new system is conducted numerical simulationusing MATLAB. And then, I accomplish hardware design and software programmingand do electrical system simulation. At last, by using test bay physical simulationtesting system, the viability and stability of the new control system is tested andverified again.The Fuzzy PDF Wave Compensation System in this paper can be taken as areference for a variety of marine cranes systems.
