Yuzhuang Reservoir which is located in Wuqing District, Tianjin is a project thatbe built on storage instead of drainage to ensure that Yangcun Army and Air ForceBase waterlogging could be promptly removed, enhance the farmland drainagestandards in both side of the airpot Pai River and improve part of the cultivated landirrigation conditions of Xiazhuhzuang village and Niezhuangzi village. Due to there isno water guarantee, water storage function is not implemented and the irrigationefficiency has been no play,since Since the reservoir built in1987and put into use.The dissertation analyses the hydrology situations of Yuzhuang Reservoir inresponse to this phenomenon. Through the Program comparison and selection, the <storm of the Atlas method> method was eleced as the optimal method to calculate thedesign storm volume of the reservoir area; Yuzhuang Reservoir was divids into theupper and lower regions.The upper region inclueds Army Base drainage machine area,Air Base drainage machine area and the Wuqing status and planning urban drainagearea。Considering the dieffrence between the land boundry conditons and farmland,appropriate amendments has been attained to the runoff coefficient and deriveddrainage process line using the calculation formula provided in the GB50014-2006.The lower region includes Wuqing cropland drainage area and Beichen croplanddrainage area. The <Tianjin Plains Farmland Waterlogging Control HydrologyManual> drawed up by Tianjin Water Conservancy Bureau was adopted to calculateits designed capacity and deserve drainage process line;According to the Reservoir design application of the principles and the actualsituation that there is no water to storage and both irrigation and cultivation could notplay its benefit, this dissertation analysised the function adjustment of irrigation anddrainage separately and practical recommendation was proposed contemporarily.At last, based on wuqing district drainage standards and two principles ofreservoir operation, adopting different drainage standards between the upper regionand lower region, as well as the defferent the design drainage process lines, Thedissertation combined the design drainage process lines individually, analysisedreservoir storage capacity and practical recommendation was proposedcontemporarily.
