In order to be excellent structural state, how to heat the feedstock to a specifiedtemperature fast and accurately, on the condition that it maintains the internaltemperature uniform, is an important process in semi-solid thixoforming technology.So for the semi-solid processing technology, it is very crucial to make a research onmetal feedstock heating transferred behavior between the states of solid and liquid.During the solid-liquid states, the internal heat transfer of feedstock includes theinternal heat transfer between solid phases, internal heat transfer between liquidphases and internal heat transfer between solid-liquid phases. Whereby, the heattransfer between solid-liquid interfaces should be affected by the solid phasecurvature radius, thermodynamic variable of solid-liquid phases etc.This essay adopts Q235A steel and LY11hard aluminum alloy, these twomaterials to make simulated solid phase, and put it into the ZL102aluminum alloysolutions, change the liquid phase temperatures, the initial temperatures of the solidphase and the sizes of solid phase, and with the help of A/DAM data acquisitionsystem, we can record the time-temperature curves of each team during experiments.Analyzing the experimental curves, we mainly discuss how the four aspects, whichinclude liquid temperature, the initial temperature of solid phase, the radius andlength of samples, affect the center sphere’s temperature of samples.The research shows that the solid phase temperature has a great affection on theheating effect of solid phase; the initial temperature of solid phase has a littleaffection on the speed of increasing temperature; the curvature of solid phase has acertain affection on the temperature of sphere center, the bigger the radius becomes,the faster the temperature increases, and the temperature of solid phase restricts itseffects; the smaller the radius is, the more obvious the length of the law will be, itmeans the shorter the length is, the faster the temperature increases, and with theincreasing of the radius, the heat increasing speed of different lengths tends to beuniform.
