With the rapid development of socio-economic and natural sciences, energy issues are frequentlymentioned. People aware of the need to change the global energy mix, which is the transition fromtraditional energy to the renewable energy. So the technology of environmental energy harvestingemerged and the vibration energy harvesting has become a hot research nowadays.Firstly, the theories of electromagnetic vibration energy harvesting system are analyzed in thispaper, the output power and the energy conversion efficiency are solved. Then a cantilever structureelectromagnetic vibration energy harvesting devices is designed. Pick-up structure composed by thecantilever and the coil and its motion characteristics are analyzed. Two energy conversion structureare designed, the flux variation is calculated by using Ansoft Maxwell software and the outputperformance of two different transducers structure are solved.In addition, a multi-directional electromagnetic vibration energy harvesting system is designed inorder to enhance the ability to adapt to environmental, structure model was built and structuralcharacteristics are analyzed. Pick-up structure composed by eight curved elastic sheets and a mass.Single elastic sheet is modal analysis, forced vibration equation of motion is established and therelation about the size and the natural frequency is analyzed. Energy conversion structure consists ofan Halbach permanent magnet array and the core windings, the static magnetic fields of the structureare analyzed, its advantages are displayed by comparing with the common structure. Changes of fluxof the different direction are calculated and the output characteristics of the different direction aresolved.Finally, an experimental platform is built for testing and adjusting device performance, thetheoretical analysis and simulation are verified, the difficulties encountered in the study are pointedout and future design direction is prospected. |
