In recent years, as the demand of volume, efficiency and power factor of the single/three phasepower system is higher and higher, the permanent magnet synchronous generator has been widelyused due to its simple structure, high efficiency and reliable operation, especially in some emergingindustries, such as hybrid cars, wind power systems, and air power, etc, so study of permanent magnetsynchronous generator has a realistic significance.Ordinary permanent magnet synchronous generator system can realize the function of regulatingvoltage, but can not improve the performance of the generator, so in this paper, we research a projectthat the PWM rectifier will be applied to a permanent magnet synchronous generator. In permanentmagnet synchronous generator PWM rectifier system, not only can realize DC voltage regulation, alsocan improve the power factor of the AC generator, and reduce the current harmonics.Aimed at the permanent magnet synchronous generator PWM rectifier system, this paper mainlyanalyzes the mathematical model and the control strategy of the system, finally has carried on thesimulation and experimental analysis.First of all, build the the mathematical modeling of permanent magnet synchronous generatorand voltage source PWM rectifier, respectively, obtain the d-q axis rotation system of the rectifyingsystem, the mathematical model simplifies the design analysis of below. Secondly, this paperintroduces the rectifier system control strategy, through analysis of several commonly used controlstrategy of the classic, chose the voltage and current double closed-loop control strategy, at the sametime, due to the coupling system of the current loop, this paper adopted a current decoupled controlstrategy. Then, carried on simulation analysis of rectifying system using Matlab simulation software,verified the two function of the system that one is dc voltage regulation and another is high powerfactor and low current harmonic in ac side. Finally, set up the experimental platform of the wholesystem with digital control chip TMS320F2812as the core, completed the software and hardwaredesign, carried on some static and dynamic experiments, the results show that under steady state, thesystem can achieve dc voltage regulation and the low ac current harmonics these two functions;Changing the generator speed or the dc voltage reference value, the system can quickly tend to bestable and with low overshoot, the two cases can meet the design requirements.
