This paper firstly outlines the operating principle of auto eliminating clearance protectionbearing device, and takes a brief analysis of the movement of the rotor assembly drop on the device,then theoretically researches on collision movement and impact force model of the rotor assemblydrop on the device and establishes theimpact force model of the rotor assembly and the support base,theoretically solved the maximum vibration displacement of the rotor assembly drop, the inner impactforce of the bearing, the impact force between the support base and the outer ring of the bearing andthe impact force between the support base and the locating pin. Then dynamics modeling andsimulation analysison the rotor assembly and auto eliminating clearance deviceare conducted,theeffects of the dynamic behavior of the rotor assembly drop due tothe different parameters(rotorunbalance,bearing clearance, surface friction coefficient of the support base, momentinertia of thesupport base and the friction between the support base and the locating pin) are researched. By thesimulation results parameter optimization is obtained to get the best protection for the protectiondevice, test platform specifically for the rotor assembly drop is built on the basis of the existing fivedegrees of freedom magnetic bearing test rig.Due to the optimization parameters obtained by thesimulation results,three different sets of parameters agencies for the drop test are designed, using eddycurrent sensor to measure the displacement of the rotor assembly drop and fiber optic sensor tomeasure the speed signal of outer ring of the rotor assembly to analyze dynamic behavior of the rotorassembly drop to device of different parameters. Some conclusions are drawn: compared to thetraditional protection bearings, vibration of rotor assembly drop on auto eliminating clearanceauxiliary bearings device after parameters optimization significantly reduced, and high-frequencyspeed drop on device is more reliable.
