The reentry technology and the entry technology develop rapidly with the purpose of meetingthe need of the human aerospace industry in recently years. All the space exploration are based onthe reentry technology before humans build up our own base on other planets.The reentry trajectory optimization of the space vehicle is the important part of the overalldesign, which can provide the overall design relevant parameters such as thermal design,structural design, control system design and power system design, and also can offer the orbitalparameters for the measurement and control system on the ground and recover system.This paper aimed at the trajectory optimization of the space vehicle, with all the requirementsof the constraint satisfied, the optimal reentry trajectory can be gotten in simulation. The reentryfootprint is closely related to the flight range, and the scope of landing can be predicted with thedynamic reentry footprint calculated by the on-board computer. During the reentry flight process,the appropriate guidance law was applied to eliminate the landing error caused by various kinds ofrandom interference factors. Because the entry process on mars is parallel to the reentry processon earth, the entry trajectory of the mars probe can be optimized in the same way. Based on theresearch of reentry process, taking the mars as the landing target, the mars probe can land on marssoftly with the trajectory optimization.
