The acid rain is a global environment problem today. Under the action of acid rain attack,other hydration products such as Ca(OH)2, C-S-H gel in concrete are easy to decomposeand(or) dilate, leading to the great reduction or even complete loss of concrete mechanicalproperties, especially the reinforcement in concrete is easy to lose protection due to this andaccelerate corrosion, leading to huge decrease of structural bearing capacity and early quitfrom service. This paper adopted the method of combining theoretical analysis and simulativetest and pointedly studied the degradation of bearing capacity of reinforced concrete eccentriccompression column under acid rain conditions. The results are follows:(1) Preliminarily explored the change rule according to time of concrete elastic modulus,axial compressive strength and corrosion depth of reinforced concrete eccentric compressioncolumn in acid rain environment. Reached the service properties degradation equation ofreinforced concrete eccentric compression column by fitting the function relation betweenstructural concrete elastic modulus, axial compressive strength and the corrosion depth andacid rain acidity, corrosion time.(2) On the basis of testing failure pattern, failure process, cracking load, ultimate loadand other indicators of reinforced concrete eccentric compression column in acid rainenvironment, cleared about the degradation regularity of bearing capacity of reinforcedconcrete eccentric compression column according to time in acid rain environment and theeffect of acid rain acidity, and analyzed the degradation mechanism from the perspective ofenvironmental corrosion damage mechanics.(3) On the basis of current calculation theory and analysis of experiment results,considered reduction of component section geometric size and decrease of concrete axialcompressive strength, established the calculation model of normal section bearing capacity ofreinforced concrete eccentric compression column in acid rain environment.
