Residential electricity saving plays an important role in promoting energysaving and emission reduction of the whole society and relieving the energycrisis. Household electricity visualization technique is the foundation ofcarrying out energy conservation work, it helps users understand theirelectricity consumption of the electrical equipment at different times, develop areasonable energy saving plan and target to buy energy-saving equipment,thereby reducing energy consumption and electricity costs. Therefore, toachieve household electricity visualization services is of great realisticsignificance in improving the energy efficiency in China, carrying out thesustainable energy development, building a conservation-minded society,easing energy pressure and so on.In this paper, the non-intrusive household electricity visualization systemtechnology is studied, a new household electricity visualization techniqueapplying non-intrusive method based on load signature is proposed.①Theload signatures of typical household load are studied in this paper, such ascurrent wave features、current harmonic features、active and reactive powerfeatures、geometrical properties of V-I curves etc., and extraction methods ofvarious load signatures eigenvalues are proposed, to lay the foundation forconstructing the non-intrusive household electricity visualization system basedon load signature;②Through the analysis and contrast of the discrete andnon-intervention household electricity visualization system, the architecture ofnon-intrusive household electricity visualization system based on load signatureare constructed, and the key technologies of this system are pointed out;③The transient event monitoring algorithm based on sliding window versiontwo-sided CUSUM is proposed, the algorithm can effective, automatic,accurate monitoring the opening, closing and other transient events of household electrical load according to the active power load consumption ofhouseholds;④A new type of non-intrusive load identification algorithmbased on continuous0-1quadratic programming model is proposed, thisalgorithm improved the defect that the discrete0-1quadratic programmingprocess is not easy to deal with constraints, the size of its calculate surge withthe identification number of types of equipment increasing, and tested to verifythe algorithm has high anti-interference ability and the number of speciesidentification equipment is large, the test results prove that the recognitionaccuracy is over90%.A simulation experiment platform in the lab is built for verifing thenon-intrusive household electricity visualization system based on recognitioncontinuous0-1quadratic programming and cusum transient event monitoringalgorithm has good apply effects, this system can accurately identify the statechange of the electrical equipment, and the start and stop time and run-timeparameters of each electrical equipment identified by the system keep in linewith the actual situation. The total electrical power consumption can bedecomposed into each appliance level with error0.72%, the results show thatthis scheme can be convenient, economical and accurate monitoring of theoperational status and power consumption information of the appliance, guideusers of electricity, reduce electricity costs and achieve energy saving. At last,we use the the MATLAB GUI to write a demonstration platform of thenon-intrusive household electricity visualization system to demonstrate theproposed residential lectricity visualization technique more intuitively andconveniently.
